Call for Merit Badge Counselors

Being a Merit Badge Counselor is a great way for adults to help with the running of the Troop without making a long commitment.   Teach one MB and you're "paid for the year"!  I like to have many helpers teach a little and not burn out a few stalwarts.

2018 Popcorn Final Results

Posted by admin on Nov 28 2018 - 11:12pm

This year we sold over $18000 of popcorn representing an increase of almost $1300 over last year.  Troop 755:  Job well done!  Give yourself a Class A.

Approximately 61 Scouts sold some popcorn, or roughly 33% of our membership.   These boys are your silent leaders.  They get no credit toward getting their Eagle Scout rank for their extraordinary effort, just the satisfaction of doing a good job and some membership credit, camp credit and prizes.  Yes, the sale does help them in finishing their Salesmanship merit badge if they pursue it.

Of the 61, only three scouts sold more than $1000 and only one scout sold more than $2000.  The top three scouts accounted for 25% of the sales.  They did very well.  I'll announce the winners at a Troop meeting and again at the Winter Court of Honor.  Some more trivia:
